Dear Faculty Members, Colleagues, and Students, To encourage innovation and entrepreneurship and to promote industry–academia collaboration both on and off campus, our university held the 6th (2nd Round) “Maker + Are You Ready?” Proposal Competition. Outstanding teams were selected to participate in the Ministry of Education’s University Entrepreneurship Practice Simulation Learning Platform and Operational Grant Program. The purpose of this competition is to inspire students’ innovative thinking, promote creative proposals with practical value, and provide resources to help teams turn ideas into concrete outcomes. The selected outstanding teams are as follows: 1st Place – The Pose Detectives (Faculty–Student Team) Project Title: 3D Imaging Pressure Ulcer Positioning Recognition System Team Members: Department of Medical Informatics * Yi-Zhen Huang * Felicia Lee * Chun-Song Yang 2nd Place – MedVox (Teacher–Student Team) Project Title: Multi-Adaptive Catheter Fixation Device Team Members: Master’s Program, Department of Nursing * ?-Chun Chen * Pei-Zhen Chong * Chia-Rong Wu 3rd Place – SustainSort (Faculty–Student Team) Project Title: AI One Drop Smart Waste Sorting Bin Team Members: Department of Business Management * Yi-Cheng Chien * Heng-Yu Li * Jin-Yu Li * Hsuan-Yu Lü * Sheng-Yu Huang Honorable Mention – Kai-Ji (Faculty–Student Team) Project Title: Physical Activity Habit-Building Card Game Team Members: Department of Physical Therapy * Qian-Yi Lin * Yi-En Lin * Bu-Hsuan Chai Selected teams will have the opportunity to participate in the Ministry of Education’s University Entrepreneurship Practice Simulation Learning Platform and Operational Grant Program. Teams that were not selected may still take part in the university’s Outcome Presentation Day, with a chance to receive internal university incentives. |

Under the guidance of Professor Mei-Hui Su, the team consisting of Yi-Cheng Chien, Hsuan-Yu Lü, Rui-Ting Zou, and Bo-Hsuan Huang (Juniors, Department of Business Management), together with Zi-Zhen Wang (Junior, Department of Human Development). For their project “A Feasibility Evaluation of Using Black Soldier Fly Larvae to Treat Sludge Waste”, which won Second Place in the Management Category at the 2025 National Business and Management Project Competition.
