Explanation:

  1. Core General Education: Each semester, 1 to 3 courses will be offered in each dimension. Students are required to choose one course from two different dimensions each semester. Over the course of two semesters, students will complete 4 courses, totaling 8 credits.

  2. For those who have applied for the "Digital Technology Micro-Curriculum", they may choose between the "Life Science and Environment Dimension" and the "Technology and Smart Living Dimension" for their course selection. Please register with the Holistic Center for this option.

Remarks

  • According to the "Tzu Chi University's Implementation Guidelines for English Required Courses for the Four-Year Program," English proficiency placement tests will be administered, and students will be divided into three levels: "Basic English," "Intermediate English," and "Advanced English" for class placement and instruction.

  • Four-Year Program students must complete at least 8 credits of general education electives, with the freedom to choose from the four major dimensions, but may select no more than two courses from each dimension.

  • The graduation requirements for students in this department are as follows:

    • (1) Students must pass the "Business Management Department Professional Certification Graduation Requirement."
    • (2) Students must participate in the graduation thesis presentation (or project result presentation).
    • (3) Students must complete and pass one professional bilingual course.
  • Major Elective Courses will be based on the actual courses offered in the current semester.
